More or less. The commonality in Set 1 is stress on the penultimate syllable and the first syllable, with the third syllable more often receiving primary stress and the first syllable having a secondary stress. "Get Up, Stand Up" is the oddball in the group, as it's iambic. In the Set 2, many are examples of choriambs, but the commonality is an iamb for the second foot.

What's ignored in early poetry education is that *most people can't automatically pick up on metrical patterns*, despite stress being the basis of our verse. It takes some training, but if you do an exercise where you write 3 or so verse poems (maybe sonnet-length), looking up the stress of each word in a dictionary, it'll become second nature.
